Join President Lincoln’s Cottage and the National Symphony Orchestra on March 9 for a special chamber performance that evokes the Lincolns’ personal experience at this place.
This March, the NSO’s In Your Neighborhood program is collaborating with different communities in Ward 5 to amplify joy, unity, and shared humanity through music and the arts. Partnering with local schools, museums, and organizations, they will honor the history of these neighborhoods while also building new connections and relationships. As a historic house that preserves Lincoln’s legacy and emphasizes our shared humanity, President Lincoln’s Cottage is proud to host the March 9 performance of NSO In Your Neighborhood. Musicians from the NSO will perform inside the Cottage with music that evokes longing and memory.
