So many Americans today seek places and spaces where they can find energy, hope, and rejuvenation. If this sounds like you, join us on June 4 at 6:30 pm for an intimate discussion about how we can move forward in a more hopeful way!
In Lincoln’s Drawing Room, Lincoln’s Cottage CEO and Executive Director Callie Hawkins is joined by bestselling author Rich Harwood for a conversation around how his latest book, The New Civic Path, offers us a blueprint for how we might come together and live out President Lincoln’s aspirations for our country amid the backdrop of America’s 250th anniversary. You’ll leave feeling inspired, rejuvenated, and reconnected to a sense of hope.
This event is the kickoff to a larger partnership between President Lincoln’s Cottage and The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation, a nonpartisan nonprofit whose innovative approach to community-led change has spread to all 50 states and 40 countries worldwide and transformed some of America’s hardest-hit communities. This partnership is the next step in the efforts of President Lincoln’s Cottage to cultivate and lift up the brave ideas of all who are taking on Lincoln’s “unfinished work” in pursuit of a more perfect union.
