PAST EVENT: Cottage Conversation with Richard Moe

Richard Moe, President Emeritus of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and author of Roosevelt’s Second Act: The Election of 1940 and the Politics of War, will compare Lincoln’s and Roosevelt’s presidencies. Join us on Thursday, October 17th as Moe discusses his work at Cottage Conversations, here at President Lincoln’s Cottage.

Reception: 6:00 pm at the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center
Lecture: 6:30 pm in President Lincoln’s Cottage
Admission: $10 for the lecture and $10 for the reception. Free for Cottage members at the $250 level or above.

Cottage Conversations offers relaxing evenings to socialize and learn something new about our 16th president from authors, collectors, and artists. The program starts with a cocktail reception, followed by the lecture and, when an author is the speaker, a book signing.
