Attention educators!

Join President Lincoln’s Cottage on September 10th for a Teacher Open House and learn all about the opportunities and resources we have to offer you and your students. Enjoy a drink and a snack, network with your fellow teachers, and check out demos of our field trip programs. Cottage staff will be on hand to answer all of your questions about the site and our educational programming.

As America’s 250th birthday approaches, we hope you will utilize the special resources we have created to support you in approaching this landmark anniversary with your students.

The $5 registration fee covers your admission to the open house AND one drink ticket for use at our bar!

Did you know??

  • Field trips to President Lincoln’s Cottage are FREE for DCPS and DCPCS.
  • We have transportation scholarships available to Title 1 schools in Maryland and Virginia.
  • We have field trip options for students of all ages, from kindergarten to college.
  • All our field trips include a specialized, guided tour of the Cottage and a hands-on component.
