PAST EVENT: 'Lincoln' Screening at the Cottage

THIS EVENT IS AT CAPACITY, AND WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS.

The opportunity we’ve all been waiting for is here… Come to the Cottage for a viewing of Spielberg’s epic film, Lincoln.

President Lincoln’s Cottage and The George Washington University are proud to present a free, public screening of Lincoln in the Emancipation Room at President Lincoln’s Cottage. Professor Christopher Sten, Professor of English at George Washington University, will introduce the film and lead a short discussion following. Professor Sten is an expert in 19th and early 20th century American literature and will provide wonderful insights on how to situate Lincoln historically but also in relation to Kushner’s work.

Outside food and drink will not be permitted, however concessions will be available for purchase prior to the film. Please note that the Robert H. Smith Visitor Education Center will not be open that evening.
