Abraham Lincoln found that his hat came in handy for more than covering his head! Come discover the mystery of Abe Lincoln’s hat in Learning from Lincoln, an interactive program at President Lincoln’s Cottage.

Military Free Admission all Summer!
By showing a valid military ID in the Visitors’ Center at President Lincoln’s Cottage, active duty military personnel will receive free admission (for one) to take a Signature Cottage Tour. This offer is good through Labor Day, September 6, 2010 and tickets are available daily on a first come first serve basis at the site. This offer is not available online. DC Resident Buy One Get One Free in August
When a regular $12 adult ticket is purchased, a second adult ticket will be given free of charge along with 10% off any purchase in the Museum Store that day. This promotion is available at President Lincoln’s Cottage by showing a valid DC identification card or other proof of residence and is not available through online ticket purchases.
