PAST EVENT: Voices of the Civil War
On May 18, 2011 President Lincoln’s Cottage will host the Heritage Voices of the Washington Revels in a public program titled “Voices of the Civil War.” A special visit from President Abraham Lincoln and his secretary, John Nicolay, highlights a program of American folk songs, spirituals, patriotic music, and readings from the Civil War period.
